Why Buy Personal Training Insurance?

Whether you are training people face to face or online make sure you have the right insurance cover in place to protect yourself and your customers. Have you considered what could happen if a customer was to injure themselves during one of your sessions? What about if someone you were training damages something in a gym space you are hiring? With many personal trainers using online methods to coach people have you thought about how much you would need to replace your equipment if it was stolen? Make sure you are covered for different scenarios whilst carrying out your personal training.

Public Liability

Public Liability insurance is really key for personal trainers. It makes sure you are protected if someone was to make a claim against you for injury or damage to property.
You could be required to pay out if, for example, one of your personal training clients injures themselves when you are training them. You may rent out gym space at multiple establishments and if a gym owner was to make a claim against you, you would have to cover that cost.

Personal Accident

Have you thought about protecting yourself? If you injure yourself while participating in your sport you could be unable to work for a long period of time. Have you considered what you would do financially in the event of an accident? Accidents happen so make sure you have the right protection in place for your business.
